Terms of service
These terms apply to your use of towmahajunkcars.com and to any vehicle you sell to TowMaha LLC , doing business as TowMaha Junk Cars (“we,” “us”). By using our website or selling to us, you agree to these terms.
Offers
Offers are based on the information you give us, including the vehicle's year, make, model, condition and completeness. If the vehicle doesn't match what was described, for example missing parts, different damage or a different vehicle, we may revise or withdraw the offer before pickup. An offer is not final until we pick up the vehicle and pay you.
Free pickup
Pickup is free within our service area in the Omaha metro and Council Bluffs, about 30 miles around Omaha. You don't pay anything to have the vehicle hauled away.
Ownership
You must be the owner of the vehicle or be authorized to sell it. If you don't have the title, we'll only complete a purchase after we've confirmed you're able to sell the vehicle. Depending on the vehicle, we may ask for a photo ID, a registration or other paperwork.
We do not buy stolen vehicles or parts, or anything the seller isn't authorized to sell. We may decline or cancel any purchase, at any point up to and including pickup, if ownership can't be confirmed. All purchases follow Nebraska and Iowa law.
Liens
You must tell us about any loan or lien on the vehicle. If there is a lien, we may require a lien release or other proof that the loan has been paid before we can complete the purchase.
Pickup
We'll agree on a pickup time with you on the phone. You or an authorized person should be there at pickup to hand over the keys and any paperwork. The vehicle must be somewhere our truck can safely reach, and you must have the right to let us access that location.
Payment
You're paid when we pick up the vehicle, once ownership is confirmed. We'll confirm the amount when we make the offer.
Your responsibilities
- Remove personal belongings from the vehicle before pickup, including the glove box, console and trunk. We're not responsible for items left in the vehicle.
- Ask about your plates and registration. Rules for license plates and registration after a sale are different in Nebraska and Iowa. Check with your county treasurer's office about what to do with yours.
- Check with your insurer before canceling coverage , so you don't cancel while the vehicle is still registered to you.
- Complete any seller steps required by your state, such as signing over the title or reporting the sale.
Website content
The information on this website is for general informational purposes only and may change without notice. Nothing on this website is legal advice. Requirements for selling a vehicle, especially without a title, depend on your situation. Call us and we'll tell you what's needed.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TowMaha LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or from any transaction, and our total liability for any claim related to a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for that vehicle.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, except where Iowa law applies to a purchase made in Iowa.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when they were last changed.
